The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
Summary of position and role of team: Responsible for the delivery and oversight of MAT and psychiatric care to assigned patients involved in medication services provided at the Center's outpatient clinical sites. Provides assessment and pharmacotherapy to patients in individual appointments as well as work with a team of providers to address other related clinical and administrative patient needs. Provides MAT services in an outpatient setting within the State's APRN Scope of Practice related to MAT services. Provides all clinical services under the HRMC Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Protocol as well as MAT P&P. An essential job function is a reliable, predictable 40 hour per week job, on site, with regular attendance, or whatever your job requires.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
The APRN will work in the outpatient clinic or office setting, not in the community.

1. Works in a multi-disciplinary team approach to meet the clinical needs of patients.
2. Completes all documentation in compliance with HRMC standards
3. Completion of expected productivity
4. Completion of required HRMC training to maintain status as a credentialed provider
Schedule:
The APRN is expected to fulfill the agreed upon hours when hired. Unless otherwise approved, the APRN is expected to be present in the clinic from 8am-5pm. All other scheduling arrangements are approved on a case by case basis.
Travel:
Travel is not required if the APRN is providing medication services to their designated outpatient clinic. The APRN may have to travel between clinics/programs at times, and may be required to travel for any supervision, trainings, or scheduled meetings. There is no overnight travel. Clients will not be transported by the APRN.
Equipment/Technical Competency:
Staff will receive a center issued laptop. The APRN will need access to e-mail, Athena Health (EMR), Drs. First including a EPCS Token, and a Doxy.me account. VPN (remote) access is approved on a case by case basis.
Equipment/Technology:
The APRN will require a laptop and/or desktop to provide medication services. It is essential for the APRN to have access to one or both devices in order to access the EMR, Drs. First platform, and Doxy.me.
QUALIFICATIONS - Hamilton Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Experience / Knowledge:
Prior clinical experience is a plus. At the minimum, must have obtained a minimum of 500 clinical hours with a preceptor while enrolled in the respective APRN program. Previous experience with substance use disorders and MAT is preferred.
Education / License:
Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and possess an active license as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the state of Tennessee. Have completed an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and/or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) approved Psychiatric Mental Health APRN Program and maintain an active license as an APRN in the state of Tennessee. Must be board certified and hold a certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from The ANCC and/or AANP. Have a Certificate of Fitness from The Tennessee Board of Nursing. Must hold and maintain an active DEA license including the mandatory eight hours of MAT training.
