The ideal Family Treatment Services Coordinator is responsible for the following:

1. Coordinates all program activities, including developing and implementing policies, procedures, and workflows.

a. Ensures staff are present in the facility at all times.

b. Ensures program activities occur on a consistent schedule and that coverage of activities occurs consistently.

c. Ensures program activities are accessible to clients.

d. Ensures program activities meet the needs of clients enrolled in program.

2. Oversees the quality of services provided to families enrolled in the program.

a. Ensures clients receive quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and effective treatment.

b. Ensures staff have access to consistent training, supervision, and consultation.

c. Ensures staff are equipped to monitor the safety and health of residents of program.

3. Ensures program is running in compliance with agency and program policies and procedures.

a. Ensures staff are trained and consistently following HRMC policies and procedures.

b. Develops and oversees program schedule and client caseload meet productivity targets consistently.

c. Ensures that documentation of intervention and counseling services are provided according to agency policy and contractual agreements.

4. Monitors the safety and needs of the facility

a. Ensures necessary repairs and maintenance are performed at the facility.

b. Ensures the client residence is equipped with needed supplies.

5. Ensures the program meets QA/QI indicators and that QA/QI reporting functions are submitted in a timely manner.

6. Assists with covering therapeutic activities and residential shifts as needed.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $59,381 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

Scheduling: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with the expectation of on call for supervisory issues

Travel: An F endorsement is required.  Staff may transport clients in their personal vehicle as necessary

Equipment/Technology: Basic computer skills are required for e-mail, time keeping, scheduling, Excel, Word, and EMR documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS - Family Treatment Services Coordinator

Education: 

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Training in trauma informed care and interventions, co-occurring disorders, infant and early childhood mental health, diversity-inclusive practices, and child development preferred. 
  • Clinical licensure preferred.

Experience / Knowledge

  • One year experience providing trauma, mental health, and co-occurring treatment required.
  • One year of experience in supervisory or management role preferred. 
  • Experience managing transitional housing, residential, or structured living preferred.

Physical:

  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
  • Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors.
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones.
  • Close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
  • Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. 
  • Effective communication skills, strong time management, and organizational skills are necessary to manage day to day job responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation. 
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.
