The Dogwood Springs Program Coordinator manages the Dogwood Springs permanent, supportive housing site. 

  • Ensures compliance with all Fair Housing standards, funding requirements, HRMC policies/procedures, and HRMC's Tenant Selection Plan. 
  • Ensures that housing units are rented in a timely manner and manages rent collection process. 
  • Ensures that housing units are well maintained, reviews quarterly apartment inspections, and manages the lease violation/termination process. 
  • Acts as liaison with community partners and tenant natural support systems as necessary. 
  • Directly supervises Property Manager, Resident Manager, and Housekeeper. 
  • Ensures that all tenants are offered access to supportive services as requested.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $16.90 / hr based on relevant experience and education.


  • This position has a regular schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am till 5pm. 
  • Position is required to respond to issues that occur after hours and on the weekends as needed to ensure tenant safety. 
  • Employee is off on Center designated holidays. 
  • In person daily attendance is essential for this position except in instances of approved time off. 
  • This position may be required to attend events outside of the standard schedule.


  • This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. 
  • Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. 
  • Staff members may be required to provide transportation in their personal vehicle and staff members are reimbursed for use of their vehicle for this purpose. 
  • This position may be required to travel to out of state conferences/meetings as applicable.


  • This position does require high level computer skills for timekeeping, scheduling and use of electronic medical records entry, and extensive experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Outlook).

QUALIFICATIONS - Dogwood Springs Program Coordinator


  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field of counseling, psychology, social work, sociology, or a behavioral science field preferred. 
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in other fields will be considered based on previous work experience.

Experience / Knowledge

  • One year experience in the social work field or a behavioral health setting preferred. 
  • Three years experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.


  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
  • Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided).
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
  • Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transport clients as necessary.
