The Recruiting and Training Services Coordinator

  • Models exemplary leadership through excellent hygiene and presentation, consistent presence, support, management, solution implementation, and kindness as evidence by no staff concerns to VP of HR
  • Holds bi-monthly supervision with staff members as evidenced by supervision notes in the staffs personnel file.
  • Manages employee orientation held 50 weeks per year also including special orientations.
  • Manages employee orientation in Chattanooga several weeks per month.
  • Oversees Center wide training initiatives including orientation, student internships, drug reps, and in-service guest speakers.
  • Manages NHSC and effectively recruits licensed practitioners.
  • Implements creative community in-person recruitment for vacant positions.
  • Manages all job fairs, university relationships, and community events.
  • Manages recruitment bonuses.
  • Recruits agency temps when needed including but not limited to SANE nurses, RNs, and LPNs.
  • Designs, implements, and documents pre-hire and in-service training.
  • Implements and manages all recruitment activities for the Center.
  • Updating and posting vacancies within 24 hours of a job opening.
  • Overseeing all of the job boards that include E3, job target, handshake, etc.
  • Manages background and drug screen checks for funder compliance, implementation, and documentation.
  • Responsible for assigned contract negotiations, annual updates, and distribution to contractors.
  • Recruits, orients, and trains agency/contract staff.
  • Oversees and manages the Learning Management System (Relias) and ensures funder compliance with training.
  • Improves the training modules that employees receive to make the modules more efficient and effective.
  • Manages annual HWC and CPR certifications and recertification.


COMPENSATION: 

  • Starting salary for this position is approximately $68,986 /yr based on relevant experience and education.


    Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (in-person only)

Travel:

  • Weekly travel to Chattanooga required.

Equipment/Technology:

  • Basic computer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation in the electronic medical record.

QUALIFICATIONS - Recruiting and Training Services Coordinator

Education:

  • Must have Master's degree in business, health administration, social work, human resources or related field; prefer master's degree in human resources.

    Experience / Knowledge:

      • HR Certification Preferred.
      • Minimum of five years' experience in human resources related positions.
      • Training and recruiting experience preferred.

      Physical:

      • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
      • Proficient in reading.
      • Ability to communicate effectively.
      • Be a certified trainer in Handle with Care training that requires grabbing, kicking, stooping, bending, on knees frequently, and moderate athleticism.
      • Ability to type and write professional communications proficiently.
      • Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
      • Valid driver's license.
      • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
      • CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided).
      • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
      • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
      • Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transport clients as necessary.
