SUMMARY - Accounts Payable Specialist
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be tasked with a multitude of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Invoice reconciliation
- Data entry
- Spreadsheet creation/maintenance
- Invoice tracking
- Provide professional communication with both staff and vendors
- Travel/Mileage processing
- Resolve issues with invoices
- General administrative work (filing, scanning, etc.)
- Prepare audit work papers
There are various deadlines that the accounts payable department follows to allow HRMC to present timely and accurate financial statements. In addition, this position will cross train throughout financial services to be able to assist other departments when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS - Accounts Payable Specialist
Education/Knowledge: High school diploma required; Associate's Degree a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience: Two years' experience in an accounting environment with a knowledge of general accounting principles, preferred experience in accounts payable. Proficient in reading, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to type proficiently.
Physical: Hearing of normal and soft tones. Lifting up to 30 lbs. Sitting at a desk for long periods of time. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Compensation: Starting salary for this position is approximately $13.48 /hr based on relevant experience and education.
