the McNabb Center Team as a Master's Level Clinician for School Based Services
in Hamilton County today!
The School
Based Master's Level Clinician provides
individual and family psychotherapy in a school based, community, and/or clinic
setting to children with mental health diagnosis, or are at the onset of mental
illness, and may be experiencing a family disruption or school problem.
- Will travel to client homes for appointments when needed.
- Clinician will ensure
compliance with productivity standards set by the Program Coordinator by
scheduling determined number of clients for weekly session, providing follow up
phone calls when clients cancel or miss scheduled appointments, and provide
support staff with information for appointment reminder calls.
- Clinician
will attend monthly treatment team meetings and provide the prescriber with
needed information regarding clients' current situation and family
circumstances.
- Clinician will attend doctor appointments as needed, will discuss
options/goals for clients receiving services, and will provide crisis
intervention and emergency services as needed.
COMPENSATION: Starting
salary for this position is approximately $45,080 /yr based on relevant
experience and education.
Schedule:
- This
position has a regular schedule of Monday-Friday 8am until 5pm but at times
flexibility of hours may be required.
- There is no on-call for this position and employee is off on Center
designated holidays.
Travel:
- This position requires utilizing a personal
dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
- Maintaining a
dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of
employment.
Equipment/Technology:
- This
position does require basic computer skills for timekeeping and use of
electronic medical records entry.
QUALIFICATIONS - School
Based Master's Level Clinician
Education:
- Master's degree in
Human Services or related field, with course work or experience in the areas of
trauma, cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental
illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and
intellectual disabilities.
Experience / Knowledge:
- One year
experience in a human services or related field preferred.
Physical:
- Minimal
exposure to biological hazards.
- Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- CPR and First Aid
certification required (training provided).
- Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal
de-escalation techniques.
- Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
- Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transport
clients as necessary.
