The Ideal Client Benefits Liaison covers the admissions and front desk for the ED Crisis Response Team and will be located at McNabb's Merchants Campus. Some onsite work at ETCH may be required, as needed and directed by supervisor. Direct knowledge of electronic medical records (Athena Health) will be required.  Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.  Exemplary organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.  Knowledge of patient needs, clinical workflow, and financial standards are must. Maintaining insurance eligibility information, working with all departments of the organization is required. 

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $14.39 /hr based on relevant experience and education.

Scheduling:  40 hours a week -80 hours per pay period.

Travel: This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business and maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. "F" endorsement is required.

Equipment/Technology: Computer, copier, scanner, camera, phones and general office equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS - Client Benefits Liaison

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a Professional Healthcare office environment.  
  • Customer service focus and skills required.  
  • Must be comfortable with computers and technology.  
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and appropriately prioritize task are required

 Physical:

  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards..
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones.
  • Close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
  • Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. 
  • Effective communication skills, strong time management, and organizational skills are necessary to manage day to day job responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation. 
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.
