Assistant Director - Hamilton County Development

The Assistant Director of Hamilton County Development is responsible for the management and growth of the annual special events and major gifts in Hamilton County. This includes:

  • meeting of all fund raising goals
  • meeting the goal of friend raising
  • increasing the communities' awareness of the McNabb Center/Foundation and their mission.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $58,380 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm with some event coverage after regular business hours.

Travel: Travel to events in the area. Reliable transportation required.

Equipment/Technology: Ability to use computer, internet, databases, and Microsoft Office products. 

QUALIFICATIONS - Assistant Director of Hamilton County Development


  • Must have at least a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years related experience with demonstrated results in meeting fundraising, friend raising goals for a non-profit organization.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Demonstrated history of working with committees, planning special events, setting fund raising goals and meeting or exceeding them, and working closely with volunteers on all levels with a demonstrated ability to motivate in order to accomplish goals.


  • Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
  • Pushing / pulling up to 150lbs.
  • Lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
