The Client Benefits Specialist at BHUCC covers the admissions and front desk. Direct knowledge of the electronic medical records (Centricity) will be required. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Exemplary organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Knowledge of patient needs, clinical workflow, and financial standards are must. Maintaining insurance eligibility information, working with all departments of the organization is required. This position works Monday - Friday 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm.
This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
Education/Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a Professional Healthcare office environment. Customer service focus and skills required. Must be comfortable with computers and technology. Strong communication skills both written and verbal; Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and appropriately prioritize task are required.
Physical: Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing within normal range. Uses computer, calculator, copier and general office equipment. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
The Helen Ross McNabb Center (www.mcnabbcenter.org) is a premier not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services. The Center provides quality care and serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention, social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient, and crisis services.
