Do you see yourself as a part of this life-changing work? If so, we are currently seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the following position: Client Benefits Specialist / Tech Center Front Desk.

The Ideal Client Benefits / Front Desk Staff Desk is responsible for opening and closing the front office at designated times, answering and directing phone calls throughout the McNabb Center, working with all departments of the organization, and maintaining the mail room / preparing courier bags daily.  Duties will also include management of client information via telephone or walk- ins. Direct knowledge of electronic medical records is required. Must be Customer Service Oriented and have pleasant phone voice.  Must have the ability to work well with patients, visitors, and other personnel, as well as coworkers. Working at other McNabb Center office sites / providing coverage for Client Benefits Staff is a possibility.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $14.39 /hr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule: This position is regular Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with weekends and Center holidays off.

Travel: This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.

Equipment/Technology: This position does require basic computer skills for timekeeping, scheduling and use of electronic medical records entry, and experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Outlook).

QUALIFICATIONS - Client Benefits Specialist


  • Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration is preferred.  

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a Professional Healthcare office environment. 
  • Customer service focus and skills required. 
  • Must be comfortable with computers and technology. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and appropriately prioritize task are required.


  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. 
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation. 
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.

The McNabb Center ( is a premier not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services.  The Center provides quality care and serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention, social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient, and crisis services.
