Compensation: Starting salary for this position is approximately $17.53 /hr based on relevant education and experience.

SUMMARY - Construction Team Worker

This is full time 40 hour per week position; it will require some overtime and will be required for on-call emergency.  Performs general maintenance tasks.  Preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, logging and tracking helpdesk request, meeting with vendors.  Replaces light tubes/bulbs, fixtures and electrical components.  Moving of furniture and other home/office material and appliances. This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.

REQUIREMENTS - Construction Team Worker


  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of education. 
  • Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems, construction materials and general construction techniques.


  • A minimum of three years' experience is required in the field of building maintenance and/or construction. 
  • Some knowledge of computers and computer software. 
  • Must be able to work independently, and with minimal supervision, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.


  • Exposure to biological hazards. Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work. 
  • Valid driver's license. 
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. 
  • Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. 
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. 
  • Must be able to work from a ladder for extended periods of time.
