following position: Master's Level Diversion/Recovery House Clinician -
The Ideal Master's Level Diversion/Recovery House
Clinician should possess the ability to relate to individuals and
families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels,
and economic circumstances with respect and dignity.
The Master's Level Diversion/Recovery House Clinician - Hamblen:
- Provides weekly individual and family psycho-therapy to adults
with co-occurring diagnosis. Ensures compliance with productivity
standards set by the program coordinator by scheduling determined number of
clients for weekly sessions, with all necessary follow-up.
- Provides psycho-social assessments for clients entering the
McNabb Center Adult IST, the recovery Home, and Jail to Work program
- Provides diagnosis and appropriate referrals for clients
- Provides mental status assessments for IST clients at medication
- Discuss options/goals for clients receiving services.
- Provides crisis intervention and emergency services as
- Embraces the key values of clinical services: empowerment,
normalization, rehabilitation, and continuity of care.
- Adheres to MC policies and procedures.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE OF MASTER'S LEVEL DIVERSION/RECOVERY HOUSE
- Master's Degree in Human Services or related field with
course work or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human
development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse,
physical and sexual abuse, trauma informed treatment, DBT therapy, issues faced
by justice involved populations, suicide, and mental retardation.
- Must be knowledgeable in and comfortable working with
co-occurring disorders.'Knowledge of etiology and treatment of mental illness,
physical and sexual abuse, suicide, human development, and cultural diversity.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS OF MASTER'S LEVEL DIVERSION/RECOVERY HOUSE
- Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in
order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating
agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper

ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.

Starting salary for this position is approximately $40,628 based
on relevant experience and education.
