The PRN Children's CSU Residential Counselor serves as a clinical member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing education, rehabilitation, and support for the client population.
COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is $14/hr (HS Diploma), $16/hr (Bachelor's) based on relevant experience and education.
Schedule: The Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The holder of this position will be expected to work shifts that meet the needs of the program operation, which may include day, night, weekend, and holiday hours. Regular attendance is an essential job function. Mandatory to remain awake and alert during shift.
Equipment/Technology: This position requires the use of computer skills with an electronic medical record (EMR).
Duties: Direct care services as part of the milieu for clients and families served through the Children's CSU and/or Family Walk In Center. This position requires chart/clinical documentation and direct service delivery, as well as being a liaison with East Tennessee Children's Hospital (ETCH).
