SUMMARY

The Programmer 1 is responsible for the creation, administration, maintenance, and documentation of electronic forms to be used in HRMC EMR. Provides support and training to behavioral health clinicians who use those forms on a daily basis. Will work with a team in monitoring and reporting from related databases and basic knowledge of all programs that utilize a database back-end will be required. Communication with EMR and HRMC staff will be essential.  Controlling user permissions and access will be expected. 

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Knowledge: Graduation from an accredited two-year college or technical school, with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field.  Three years of related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Basic knowledge of information technology operations and computer science fundamentals.

Experience: Prior experience with HTML and SQL, as well as Javascript or similar scripting language experience. Candidate must be comfortable with public speaking, be able to learn new systems and train others on their use, be able to use available resources to resolve issues, and be able to work as a part of a team. 

Physical: Normal IT operations environment. Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing within normal range. Uses computer, calculator, copier and general office equipment. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Busy environment with multiple distractions.

COMPENSATION:

Full time annual salary starts at approximately $59,251 depending on relevant experience and education.

The Helen Ross McNabb Center (www.mcnabbcenter.org) is a premier not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services.  The Center provides quality care and serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention, social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient, and crisis services.
