The McNabb Center, a community mental health center, based
in Knoxville, Tennessee, is the region's leading nonprofit provider of mental
health, substance use, social and victim services. By focusing on an
individual's "Well Mind, Well Being,"
we provide a quality and compassionate approach to care from infancy through
adulthood. Since 1948, the Center has proudly served individuals with the most
needs and fewest resources. Today, the McNabb Center is a thriving organization
that provides the full continuum of mental health care services to over 45,000
people throughout East Tennessee each year. We are hiring additional
psychiatrists due to the growing demand for our services. Highlights include:
- This is an outpatient practice with a
Monday-Friday work week (8A-5P)
- Outpatient
services include diagnostic assessment, medication counseling and
psychiatric services.
- Psychiatrist
see clients 32 hours/week and have a manageable volume.
- We offer a
physician-friendly work environment that includes flexible hours. (24 hours plus is considered full-time to
receive benefits)
- The
opportunity to be involved in
mentoring and teaching psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.
- Psychiatrists
will provide care for a broad range of mental health issues: bipolar, depression, anxiety, SUD, etc…

wide range of innovative services
including the McNabb Center's Mobile Health Clinic, which brings
behavioral services to rural Tennesseans in need of them most.
