SUMMARY - PRN "Amazing Dads" Group Facilitator

The PRN "Amazing Dads" Group Facilitator will perform the following job duties:  

  • Facilitate a weekly two hour group providing support to fathers using the "Amazing Dads" curriculum within the guidelines set by the developer.
  • Track feedback of the group for the developer and respond via email, phone, and written communication.
  • Attend consultation calls with the developer of the "Amazing Dads" model. 
  • Complete paperwork timely and in compliance with contractual, legal, applicable licensing, accreditation, and quality assurance standards and oversight requirements.
  • Facilitate eye-on urine drug screening with participants. Other duties as assigned.
  • This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.

REQUIREMENTS - PRN "Amazing Dads" Group Facilitator


  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required; Training in trauma informed care and interventions, co-occurring disorders, child psychopathology, cultural diversity, and child development preferred.


  • One year experience treating co-occurring disorders and trauma in parents preferred.


  • Must be comfortable working in the in-home setting.
  • Exposure to biological hazards.
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • To ensure the safety of the clients and staff, this position requires certification in and adequate implementation of verbal de-escalation techniques (Handle with Care).
  •  Must be certified in CPR or become certified in CPR.
