The School Based Master's Level Team Leader is responsible the supervision, training and overseeing the daily operations of School Based Services, Outpatient Services, CTT, and crisis intervention services as needed.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $43,980 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

Scheduling:  Monday - Friday 8-5pm with on call responsibility as needed for supervision of team.

Travel: This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. "F" endorsement is required. Must be able to provide transportation as needed.

Equipment/Technology: This position requires the use of computer skills with an electronic medical record (EMR), and telehealth/televideo services may be offered as part of the service delivery. Staff will be expected to maintain work with a Center cell phone and computer.

QUALIFICATIONS - School Based Master's Level Team Leader

Education:

  • A Master's degree in human services or related field with course work or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and developmental / intellectual disability. 
  • Knowledge of childhood development, family dynamics, mental illness and psychological traits associated with the target population of each program.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Three years of direct experience in a human services or related field preferred. 
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Physical:

  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones.
  • Close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
  • Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. 
  • Effective communication skills, strong time management, and organizational skills are necessary to manage day to day job responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation. 
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.
